How to Set Up Your Barcode Scanner with Lightspeed POS

Instructions

  1. Download Socket Mobile Companion Opens New Window from the Apple App store and follow the set-up instructions within the app.
  2. Once connected, launch Lightspeed POS on your iPhone or iPad.

Lightspeed has not yet added support for our barcode scanners on Android devices. We hope this is remedied soon.

To use your barcode reader with Lightspeed on an Apple Mac or Windows PC, the reader must be in Basic Keyboard Mode. Please follow these instructions to pair your reader.
