Trade-in/Upgrade Terms and Conditions

  1. Any Socket Mobile barcode or contactless reader, under 10 years old, is eligible for trade-in/upgrade.
  2. This upgrade process is for one device per transaction. Multiple devices cannot be traded in at this time.
  3. New products must be purchased via our official Socket Stores at full MSRP/RRP. Current MSRP/RRP pricing is correct as seen on each regional Socket Store.
  4. For the trade-in rebate to be issued, your old product must be received at the designated returns address within 60 days of receipt of your new product. Return instructions will be sent separately, via email, after your trade-in/upgrade purchase.
  5. You, the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs when returning the old product. We strongly recommend the use of a fully track and traceable method of shipping as Socket Mobile cannot be held responsible for any missing products.
  6. The refund will be processed within 48hrs of receipt of an old Socket Mobile product. It may take longer for the credit to show on your account, depending on the time it takes your payment provider to process the refund.
